Vicky and her gorgeous beagle, Baxter, have had quite the adventure so far in their SSL Conversions campervan. Lovingly named Vanessa, or ‘Big Ness’, Vicky’s campervan was created to ensure that she had plenty of space with the attractive Scandinavian style interior that first caught her eye.
looking for something new
The search for a new campervan
Vanessa is not Vicky’s first campervan, but after travelling around in her VW model she felt that it was lacking in space and got fed up with putting her bed up and down each day. So, she decided to research alternatives online in search of something she could comfortably stand up in that also had a fixed bed.
Vicky found SSL Conversions online and liked the look of our clean and stylish Scandinavian interiors. She got in touch and arranged a meeting with Liam in which they discussed different campervan layouts and the options she could choose from, finishing on an Alfresco S layout. Vicky ordered her campervan and this was delivered within 3 weeks as quoted.

The details
The main bed has been lowered and a bunk bed added above; we also installed 2 x 3 point children’s seat belts on a storage bench seat in the rear, switched around the kitchen layout and added barn door windows.

Campervan adventures
After being granted a one year sabbatical from work, Vicky set off on a campervan adventure with Baxter to discover plenty of what Europe has to offer. They visited France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania, Germany, and Italy and loved every minute of their time away.
Although the adventure began with just the two of them, it ended with another furry friend, Sherlock, who Vicky adopted from a Croatian dog rescue shelter.
Vicky’s favourite part of her campervan trip was seeing the mountains and she also loved spending time at the top of Italy. She says that there’s nothing she’d change about her SSL Conversions campervan and is really happy with her choice.
